Thai Airways International Public Company Limited’s Cabin Attendant Pre-Flight Study and Briefing System recently won an Asia Pacific ICT Award 2009 (APICTA) under the Tourism and Hospitality Category , during an award ceremony that as held at the Asia Pacific Digital Innovation Summit (APDIS) in Melbourne, Australia. The APICTA Awards is an international awards program that aims to increase Information and Communication Technology (ICT) awareness in the community for increased innovation and creativity.
Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI President, said the Cabin Attendant Pre-Flight Study and Briefing System won the award at the Asia Pacific ICT Award 2009 (APICTA) under the Tourism and Hospitality Category. THAI’s Cabin Attendant Pre-Flight Study and Briefing System was designed and developed in-house by THAI staff in 2004 to help THAI cockpit and cabin crew prepare for flight through advanced secured authentication and internet (SSL VPN with OTP Token) on all personal computers and on every mobile phone network from anywhere in the world.
THAI’s Cabin Attendant Pre-Flight Study and Briefing System previously won the award under the Tourism and Hospitality Category at the Thailand ICT Awards EXPO 2009, which was awarded by the category of tourism and hospitality from the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology.
